synergy

This is a common term we use in pharm school. It basically means when two drugs work together towrds the same end point , u get more than an additive response. But what happed when the synergy is overwhelmed? you get a adverse reaction --and that is the point my friend , I want to make to make today. I know patients(read people) can be ignorant(read dumb! ) but they should atleast learn to recognise that when they have something like pain, whereever it is, it is the same thing--pain. There is no point taking aspirin for knee pain, tylenol for head(ache) pain and ibuprofen for back pain. They will only make things bad or even worse that u might find yourself in the ER.
